Divish Shah is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EchoCheck Technologies, a company dedicated to developing intelligent wearable technologies that enhance mobility, independence, and safety for people with visual impairments and other accessibility needs.

Driven by a longstanding interest in engineering, physics, and human-centered design, Divish founded EchoCheck with the belief that technology should solve meaningful real-world problems.

What began as an idea to improve independent mobility has evolved into a growing assistive technology venture focused on creating practical, intuitive, and affordable solutions that empower users in their everyday lives.

Alongside leading EchoCheck, Divish is an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) student whose work spans scientific research, embedded systems, and product development. He is the author of The Gravity of Darkness: Insights into Black Hole Physics and has published peer-reviewed research in astrophysics. His work has also been recognised through national and international innovation programs, including support under India’s Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS), enabling EchoCheck to accelerate product development and expand its impact.

At EchoCheck, Divish works closely with engineers, researchers, healthcare professionals, and members of the visually impaired community to ensure every design decision is guided by the needs of the people the technology is built to serve. He believes that successful innovation begins with empathy, thoughtful engineering, and a commitment to making advanced technology genuinely accessible.

His long-term vision is to build a new generation of assistive technologies that redefine independence, making intelligent mobility solutions more accessible, affordable, and widely available across the world.
